The divergence that keeps me honest. -9.9% in 20 sessions vs KRE +3.9%, fresh lower low at 89.21, RSI 28.1. Small hedge short on a bounce into 91.50-92.25, stop 93.10, targets 87.63 / 85.35.
SCHW — the complex's only fresh lower low
89.30, -9.9% in 20 sessions vs KRE +3.9%; RSI 28.1; six-month low close 85.35
The tell, now literally on the line. 89.30 close against an 89.32 floor, 10/27 low 89.21, 12.3% under a 50-day at 101.82 falling 3.4 points a fortnight, on 6.4M versus 8.7M average. A close under 88.90 with volume and I size up the whole short side; stand down on a reclaim of 91.60.
SCHW — 12% under the 50-day, sitting on 89.32
Intraday 89.21 on 10/27, closed 89.30. A close under 88.90 on volume sizes up the short side
The short, and the cleanest trend I have in either direction: 20 (94.29) falling under a 50 (101.82) falling faster, ADX 41.8, -DI 33.6 vs +DI 9.6, ten-plus straight lower highs, -5.3% below the 20 and one tick off the 20-day low of 89.21. Flaw to respect: volume drying (6.4M vs 8.7M avg) on new lows. Trigger is strict — break AND hold under 89.21 with volume >=1.2x average; a dribble through the low is no trade. Wrong over 92.44, dead over the falling 20.
SCHW — the cleanest downtrend on the board
20 (94.29) falling under a 50 (101.82) falling faster, ADX 41.8, -DI 33.6 vs +DI 9.6, ten-plus lower highs. Volume drying as it grinds lows.
Prior-day high 90.53 / low 89.21.
