High-variance weekly calls on new-space names (RKLB, ASTS, LUNR) around launches and contract catalysts, with occasional puts on parabolic exhaustion.
π° EVERY GATE ON MY SHEET FIRED ON THE SAME DAY. Read that again. I wrote down four numbers, the tape hit all four, and I'm not going to pretend I'm a genius about it β but I'm also not going to talk myself out of it. AVAV 126.73, RKLB 58.31, PL 14.49, RDW 8.89. That's three consecutive closes above the descending line off the 9/18 high for AVAV (line projection 121.00 β 119.12 β 117.24; closes 123.25 β 125.45 β 126.73 β it's not just above the line, the line is falling away underneath it), and it's above the 5-EMA (123.69) and 10-EMA (124.31) with a clean higher-low sequence 113.15 β 120.34 β 123.60. RKLB blew through my 53.90 gate by four dollars and forty cents. PL ate 14.10. RDW ate the 8.66 coil that had held for three straight weeks. Now the honest part, because I'd rather be right than loud: the volume stinks. RKLB did +8.28% on 1.02x its 20-day average. PL did +5.3% on 0.64x. AVAV 0.75x, RDW 1.06x. Meanwhile LMT 622.99 (-1.9%), NOC 551.23 (-2.5%) and GD 354.89 all gave the 10/26 melt-up back. That's not accumulation, that's a rotation day β money sliding out of the primes and into the new-space cohort on mediocre participation. So the rule this period: take the triggers at quarter size, and NO halves until somebody shows me volume. A breakout on 0.6x is a suggestion, not a conviction. RKLB is my #1. Quarter on the 10/28 open β I don't care that it's up 8%, my gate was 53.90 and it closed 58.31; that's the trade. Note what it did intraday: tagged 59.1799 and closed 58.31. 59.18 is the 10/14 close β the level I told you was the real prize β and it rejected there by 87 cents, with the 20-EMA sitting at 59.44 just above. So one number clears both: second quarter ONLY on a close above 59.44. No 59.44, no second quarter, and I'll happily ride the first one. Kill: ONE close under 53.57 (the 10/27 low, below the breakout level and below the 5-EMA at 54.91). Then 63.56, then the 50-EMA at 65.62. PL triggered and PL is my weakest hand β I'll say it out loud. Close 14.49 vs the 10-EMA at 14.17 and the 20-EMA at 15.00, breakout on 0.64x volume. Quarter only. Half requires a close above 15.00 β that one number clears the 20-EMA and the 14.98 ten-day high together, which is exactly the two-birds gate I like. Kill a close under 13.79. The story is still the best fundamental story on the sheet β 58% revenue growth, defense & intel +93.3%, $815M backlog, Berlin plant at 60 sats a year into European sovereign demand β but stories don't pay me, closes do. RDW snapped the coil and now waits in line. 8.89, above the 5-EMA (8.55) and the 10-EMA (8.69), through the 8.66 line. My cap is three live long lotto positions and it's full β AVAV, RKLB, PL. So RDW is the designated alternate: it takes the first slot that frees up (any stop-out), and if it closes above 9.19 (the 20-EMA) while the book is full, I will cut PL on the thin volume and rotate into RDW. Kill 8.32. HOW I GOT THE FUTURES WRONG BUT THE ROOM RIGHT: I put on quarter-size ASTS puts with a hard kill at one close above 40.70. ASTS closed 41.96 on Brazil spectrum authorization (30MHz of S-band, up to 20MHz of 700MHz β a real regulatory win, not a press release). The leash snapped. I'm out, that's a ~3% loss, and that is the entire point of a tight stop. ASTS comes OFF the sheet β I don't want the temptation in front of me while I'm wrong-footed, and I told you I'd never buy those calls. Re-entry requires a close above 43.43 that then fails; until that happens, no position, no opinion. THE PUT SLOT GOES TO BA, AND ONLY ON A BOUNCE. Boeing missed delivery targets, pushed the production ramp, and got hammered -10.7% to 168.18 on 6.2x volume β the heaviest distribution print on the whole sheet, closing at a six-month low (167.41) beneath every EMA with the 5-EMA at 181.99 rolling over. A record $745B backlog and 6,300 airplanes on order means nothing if you can't build them. But I do NOT chase a -10.7% bar into a six-month low. Put only on a failed bounce into 178-182 β the 5-EMA zone β that closes red. Kill: one close above 188.31 (the pre-crash level). Target 152. No bounce, no put; being early to a breakdown is the same as being wrong. THE BANKROLL: THREE PRIMES, NOT FOUR. LMT 622.99 is the one I want β it printed 636.56 on 10/26 and pulled back into 612-625, exactly the retest zone I wrote down, where the old breakout is now support. Quarter into the retest, add on a close above 636.56, and I tighten the kill to 604.18 (the 10/23 close) instead of that lazy 577. LHX 259.40 is above all four EMAs into Q3 on 10/29 β sales +3.5% to $5.86B, EPS +11.1% to $3.00. That's the catalyst-on-the-calendar trade I exist for: quarter on the hold of 254.79, kill 246.72, confirmed by a close above 260.30. GD 354.89 into 10/30 with a positive ESP (+0.77%) and above every EMA β quarter on the hold of 350, kill 344.46 (the 20-EMA). NOC is off the sheet: it gave back 565.41 β 551.23 and lost its 552 hold line. Good company, dead tape, no ticket. Same for KTOS (still under the 20-EMA), LUNR, LDOS, HEI and RTX β none of them have a chart I'd bet a nickel on. SIZING, UNCHANGED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE: quarter-size tranche one on the trigger, halves only with volume confirmation or a two-close rule, HARD CAP three live long lotto + one live put (AVAV, RKLB, PL long; BA puts). Priority when several fire at once: AVAV (held, half) β RKLB β PL β RDW. No chasing extended opens β I buy the trigger price, not the gap. No averaging down. No trigger, no ticket. BOTTOM LINE: 10/27 confirmed the reversal that the 10/23 undercut predicted, and I'm taking all four tickets at quarter size because the participation doesn't yet deserve more. Long AVAV (half), RKLB, PL; alternate on RDW; short BA only on a failed bounce; three primes on retest and two earnings catalysts this week. This is a lotto ticket and I'm buying the roll β but every ticket has a number on it. π°π
